Stay cool and comfortable this summer with the new 3-in-1 Air Cooler. The electriQ AC100R is a powerful air cooler, humidifier and air purifier and will cool a small area without the need for venting or installation. The beauty of this air cooler is that it generates a steady stream of cold air through evaporation, which, unlike conventional air conditioners, doesn’t require a window vent kit or any permanent installation. It works by blowing evaporating cold water, giving you a cool fresh feeling. This stylish, portable model is ideal for cooling a person or personal area within a home or office.
The AC100R is more powerful than the AC60E with an airflow of 300m ³ per minute compared to 216m ³ per minute on the AC60E. Therefore, it can throw the cool breeze further, the AC100R throws the breeze 8.6 metres per second, while the AC60E throws the breeze 5.6 metres per sec. This does mean that AC100R is not as quiet as the AC60E (65dB vs 57dB), but with no need for installation and using the portable castors you can place it in the corner of the room. We would recommend the AC60 for a bedroom and the AC100R for larger spaces that don’t need to be silent.
How it works:
It is incredibly easy to use. Simply fill the large 4 litre tank with cold water and enjoy up to 7.5 hours of cool, constant air. You can even fill the tank with ice or use a freezer pack to cool the air even further. The 3-speed fan and directional louvres deliver an even level of cooling, while the built-in air filter cleans the air.
The air cooler cools the air by means of evaporation. When cool water evaporates into the air, the result is a mixture of cold air and mist.
